Diagnostic Services

The comprehensive clinical-functional diagnostic evaluation  is an  interdisciplinary process and developed through complementary integrative interventions, which normally requires, depending on the pathology  in question, between three  to five days to complete (approximately 12-20 hours of direct intervention and 3 to 5 hours of interviews), and is inclusive of the following:

  • Welcome and initial intake with social services
  • Medical and psychological history
  • Medical examination
  • Intellectual and behavioral evaluation
  • Pedagogic evaluation
  • Psychological interview with family members
  • Therapy assessments
  • Evaluation in educational-occupational laboratories
  • Final report with provision of clinical and functional diagnosis;
  • Therapeutic-rehabilitative recommendations;
  • Final meeting with written evaluation report issued to the family / guardian.

Also available are diagnostic evaluations concerning individual functional areas (6-7 hours of direct commitment):

  • area Intellettiva e/o comunicativa linguistica
  • area motorio-prassica
  • area delle funzioni visive e visuo-percettive
  • area dell’attenzione e del comportamento
  • area delle autonomie personali
  • area affettivo-socio-relazionale

Rehabilitation interventions

  • Neuromotor, orthopedic and postural rehabilitation
  • Aquatic therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Neuropsychomotor therapy
  • Speech therapy for: language disorders, alternative augmentative communication, specific and non-specific learning disorders, myofunctional therapy for swallowing and chewing disorders
  • Rehabilitation of neuropsychological disorders and cognitive enhancement
  • rehabilitation interventions in the sensory and motor-praxis area with innovative tools such as MyTobii and Neater Eater
  • Specialists available: physiatrist (consultation for assistive devices), neurologist, psychiatrist, pediatric neuropsychiatrist, neurophysiopathologist, orthodontist and nutritionist
  • Provision of clinical psychology services and family psychological counseling
  • Rehabilitation of visual sensory functions
  • Rehabilitation of auditory sensory functions
  • Occupational therapy
  • Music therapy
  • Adapted Physical Activity (A.F.A.)
